Making kids smile How the program works 3 ways to preorder 1) Ordering online at www.Mealsforkids.com, Is as quick as a click! For 1st time orders. Click on “Need Account” and set up an account and place your order. Your coupons will be printed from your printer. 2) Mailed the Order Form in. Menus will be sent home though your child’s backpack. Fill out the menu and return it to Meals for Kids with payment and your coupons will be mail back to you. We will make coupon sheets and mail them back to you. The coupons will come back to you dated and on a sheet to be cut apart. The coupon is to be brought to the school on the day the child has purchased lunch and they hand it in to our Meals for Kids server. They will then be served the items they have selected. New menus will be sent home for the new cycle prior to the current cycles ending date. 3) FAX. Menu’s may be Faxed to Meals for Kids and be charged to you Credit Card, fill out bottom of order form and fax to 973 423 4214. Your coupons will be faxed back to you. Please include your Fax number on form. Questions & Answers about our program. How important is the coupon? Very!!!! It helps to us serve the kids faster and with less confusion. Can I send my child in with money to buy lunch today without pre-ordering? Yes. But the selections are limited. They will be able to purchase only what is available. What happens if my child shows up without their coupon? Your child will still be fed. We carry a student list with us each day of all the students and their selections. But we serve the kids with coupons 1st What comes with each lunch? Each lunch comes with fresh fruit to choose from- apples, oranges & bananas. Potato chips, carrots sticks or rolls come with each lunch, depending on the items we are serving. How are the Sandwiches and Heroes served? Everyday sandwiches are served plain. We bring lettuce and condiments. (mayo, mustard & dressings) What is a double hot? Double portion of the hot item only. You pay an additional $1.75 for that extra hot item. Do I Get Credit for sick days or school closing? Yes. In the event of a school closing you will receive a $2.50 credit for lunch, plus credit for snacks and juices. Please be aware of field trips and special class events. Please call our office at 973 423 6066. I didn’t get my coupons back and today is the start of a new cycle what do I do? Send in a note in with your child’s name plus their selection to be used as a coupon. We bring a list of who’s entitled to lunch, each day. We have lost our coupons, what do I do now? Call our office 973 423 6066 Do I have to order everyday? No. Just the days you would like to have lunch.
How to use the order form, if not ordering on lineIf you would like to order either a Hot Lunch or a Sandwich of the Day, simply circle your choice for that day. If you would like a cold Item from the list of items we offer everyday, simply write down the choice in the blank box on the day you would like to have that item. If you would like a juice or a snack item, write down your choice in the blank box on the day you would like to have it. Please use abbreviations we have listed. After making the selections, add up the columns. Please fill out child name, grade, teacher, address and phone number so we can get them back to you quickly. Mail Check and Order Form to Meals for Kids 4 Church Street, Haledon NJ 07508 It will be processed with 24 hours of when we receive the menu. FAX.
