When you register with mealsforkids.com, you create a "User ID" of your choice and choose a secret password. We then ask for background information such as your name, current email address, street address with zip code, phone number, Children names schools and grades. Once you register with Mealsforkids.com, you are no longer anonymous to us. You are asked to create a User ID and a password and are better able to take advantage of the many features of this Web site.

We will ONLY store the following information: First Name, Last Name, Student ID, Grade, Class, and Lunch Orders. Aside from this one exception, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems. Lunch Works encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child's online experience safer:
  • Teach kids never to give personal information, unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult. Includes name, address, phone, etc.
  • Know the sites your kids are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
  • Look for Web site privacy policies. Know how your child's information is treated.
 
  Cookies

Mealsforkids.com does place a limited number of "cookies" on your computer. These cookies serve only to assist you in remembering your login information. You are more than welcome to disable cookies within your browser if you do not wish to allow these.

Checkout Process
After making their selections, your families will check out. For online payments, they'll be asked for their account information which, for privacy and security reasons, we NEVER store. For offline payments, we ask for the check number, encouraging them to write the check then and there before they forget.
